Changing with the tides is a powerful collection of poetry that uses the expression of realization as its main theme. the book is unique in its structure with its alteration of letters and poems. there is also a progression of discouragement to empowerment within the voicing.

It moved quickly and is a bit of a low-fantasy adventure with plenty of history to back it up; it felt at times a bit like Lloyd Alexander's Illyrian Adventure or the Westmark books in that regard/5.
